The project "Region"

The project task is to establish the Internet info-consulting centers' net at the territory of Moldova.

The central OIS host (the info-consulting server) is planned to be organized in Kishinev. The regional hosts will be established on base of the local NGOs (in Edineti, Tiraspol, Kricova, Shtefan Voda, Vulcaneshti and in the some other particular places in Moldova).

The intermediate result:

The program "Communication development for NGO" was designed and applied for a grant in the frames of the competition supported by "Eurasia" and "Soros-Moldova" foundations: "Promoting Intersectoral Communication and Institution-Building in Moldova." The program unites efforts of OIS and the regional organizations to be directed to creation of the Internet access points and the regional info-consulting centers in Moldova.

The program participants:

1. Youth info-consulting center "World Window" (Tiraspol town) - Soros-Moldova foundation's grant winner.
2. Charitable Fund European School "Bluebird" (Edineti town) - Eurasia foundation's (Kiev regional Representation) grant winner.
3. Institute of human development researches "TIT" (Kricova town) - Eurasia foundation's (Kiev regional Representation) grant winner.
4. Open Information Society (Kishinev) - initiator and coordinator of the program - Eurasia foundation's (Kiev Regional representation) grant winner.

The "World Window" subproject

The objective of the project: To restore and develop constructive interactions with the Transnistrian region.

The intermediate result:

The Internet-club on base of the Tiraspol State Corporate University was created and put in operation making Internet access available in the dial-up mode.
